With 60 hectares (150 acres) under the Cap Canaille, within the Calanques National Park, the Domaine de Canaille is one of the largest and most prestigious private properties on the French Riviera. This luxury villa in Cassis is available for weekly rentals and also hosts seminars, events and wellness retreats.
The former Revestel hotel, which welcomed Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill during her stay on the French Riviera in Cassis, is a prestigious villa of 600sqm (6,450sqft) completely renovated by its new owners in 2017, that can welcome twenty-four guests. The huge terrace of 400sqm (4,300sqft) overlooks the beach of the arena with turquoise waters, accessible on foot by a private road in 5 minutes.
The property has a large swimming pool and a jacuzzi facing the sea.
It will take you less than 15 minutes by foot to reach the village and the charming port of Cassis.
11/12 BEDROOMS
On the 2nd floor, a master bedroom of 90sqm (970sqft) with a bedroom (sea view), an office, a huge bathroom and two private terraces. On the 1st floor, 7 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms including 5 with sea view (6 twin rooms) and a living room serving as dormitory. On the ground floor, a twin room with a garden view and a bathroom. 3 additional twin bedrooms are located in a house at the Domaine entrance (one is only available at certain dates and with a supplement).
SEMINARS
You want to gather your management committee, organize a team building event or invite some prestigious clients? Marie receives you as if you were at home at the Domaine de Canaille for an extraordinary experience.
The "all inclusive" package starts at 450€/p (VAT exc.). This price includes lodging with access to the entire house and the domain and all meals (including savoury breaks, drinks and alcohol). With 12 bedrooms (a 13th room can be available at certain dates) and 2 spare beds, the house can accommodate up to 24/26 persons in separate beds. Minimum budget for a corporate retreat in Cassis: 12,000€ (excl. VAT).
Teambuilding activities can be organized: guided electric bike rides, hikes in the calanques, paddle or kayak lessons, boat tours with aperitif, yoga or sport classes, wine tasting with collection cars, climbing, helicopter to Porquerolles island, side cars tours of Marseille...
WELLNESS & DETOX RETREATS
Marie Treppoz (51), an HEC graduate, worked 25 years in marketing in large corporations and led successful start-ups (Welp, 1001 lists). In 2013, she turned to alternative medicine and focused on these complementary practices to traditional medicine, by organizing detox and well-being stays in France (www.my-detox.fr). Since 2017, the stays are held in the Domaine de Canaille, a villa on the French Riviera owned by Marie.

Beginning at 1pm the first day and end of the stay at 4pm the last day.
Prices: cost of the program is 890€ to which must be added the price of the chosen room (click here for the price of rooms). Ten bedrooms can be set up in twin. The price includes everything except transportation, massages and naturopath appointments (from 60€ per hour) as well as the electric bike rental (50€).
For outside participants, the program is 930€ for the 4 days or 250€ for a single day.
SEASONAL RENTALS
The Domaine de Canaille is available all year long for weekly rentals (in low and mid season, possibility of a 3 to 4-day rental) and can only be rented as a whole.
The weekly rates range from 42,000€ to 98,000€ depending on the time of year, based on a 20-person occupancy. 6 hours of housekeeping are included, as well as continental breakfast buffet. For more than 20 people, we apply an additional fee of 100€ per additional guest and the suite 10 can be rented with a supplement of 490€/night. These prices do not include final cleaning (850 €) nor tourist taxes (4.46€ / adult / day) or reception fees.
Wedding rental fee for a maximum of 110 guests from from 40,000€ to 125 000€ (depending on dates, number of guests and events and length of stay). A week rental is asked for all rentals from Mid June to end of August as well as for all large weddings (4 nights minimum otherwise). Only 2 weddings of hundred guests are accepted each year in order not to disturb neighbours.
Breakfast
Fresh bread and pastries are delivered every morning for you to enjoy a traditional French breakfast. Cooked served breakfast in option.

The swimming pool is 13 meters by 5 and is heated to 26 degrees from April to October. The jacuzzi is heated all year long at 38.

ACTIVITIES
Wine tasting
Jonathan and Aurélie Sack offer wine tasting at the Clos Sainte-Magdeleine. You can also try different wines of Cassis at sunset on the Cap Canaille driven
by an electric tuk tuk.
Boat tours
Possibility of cruises in the Calanques in sailing or motor boat (up to 35 p.), with or without skipper, full or half day. Negotiated rates.
Climbing
You dream of climbing the Cap Canaille or famous calanque of En Vau? We will put you in touch with professional guides.
Hiking trails
The region is full of beautiful hiking trails. The most famous are those of the calanques and our favorite the one between Morgiou and Sormiou.
Yoga & paddle yoga
Coralie regularly organizes yoga classes on the Corton beach (5 minutes walk) or paddle yoga from the beach in the city center. Private lessons can also be organized at home.
Electric bikes tours
Emilien and his team take you on the trails of Cassis to explore the calanques and vineyards and let you admire the view from the legendary "route des crêtes".
